This was my first Mogwai show, and the band totally blew me away. The setlist was perfect, and the band was on top form. I've downloaded a lot of Mogwai shows from the Archive, and a lot of them sound overloaded in the louder parts. But not this one! Even the louder passages of Mogwai Fear Satan come through without any distortio. Excellent recording - big thanks to the taper for posting this one. It is extremely, extremely bassy, it sounds like it was recorded under a toilet seat. Maybe this is just personal recording quality preference, but it is very, very distorted actually, even in the quiet parts. The drums are so overly heavy. Needless to say, the quality of the show and music is Mogwai-caliber, and they did rip a sick setlist at this farewell America show.
